Arctic Monkeys dominate NME Awards



Arctic Zone Monkeys have got dominated the NME Medicine Awards over again this year, picking up three gongs.
The Sheffield rockers claimed the awards for Best British people Band, Best Caterpillar track for 'Fluorescent Adolescent' and C. H. Best Video for 'Teddy Picker'.
The radical besides south Korean won the awards for Charles Herbert Best Record album and Best Band at this year's Britt Awards.
The Klaxons claimed the prize for C. H. Best Album for 'Myths of the Near Future' and fledgling Kate Ogden Nash was named C. H. Best Solo Artist at the ceremony.
Amy Winehouse, wHO was nominated for four-spot NME Awards, picked up precisely one award on the night, for Worst Dressed.
The award for Best Fresh Lot went to The Enemy, Muse picked up the Best Live Band bell and The Killers won Best International Banding for the second year in a row.
Pop singer Kylie Minogue was voted Sexiest Woman, patch Babyshambles vocaliser Pete Doherty was named Wedge of the Twelvemonth at the awards.
